Elisabetta Dami is the author of the best-selling children’s book series, Geronimo Stilton. Geronimo Stilton is a pseudonym. Dami was born in Milan in 1958. She began writing at an early age and worked with her family publishing business as a proofreader. She conceptualized the character of Geronimo Stilton and collaborated with Piemme publishing house in 1999 for a series based on the character. The books became very popular world over. She has written more than 50 books. This includes titles such as The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid and Red Pizzas for a Blue Count.
